Uncovering your passion

The charity cd has now been in the stores for a week and it seems to be doing extremely well. Its quite an incredible feeling to remember how ideas can manifest into a reality with passion, determination and a clear vision.

But I think passion can be expressed in ways that do not require someone to embark upon a full scale compilation album to bring awareness to issues of child abuse. However I do believe that you grow by doing what excited and scares you. For me seeing this issue of child abuse in NZ started a seed of an idea and the passion to make a difference grew from there.

I am curious as to how you experience your passion and whether you actually follow it? Or if you have even uncovered it yet?

  1. Hey Monique, love this thought provoking stuff! My passion is my kids. I always wanted to be a mum and have such a clear goal to bring the most wonderful children into the world that I possibly can. They are 7 and 9 now and I am very proud of them so far. I have the Plunket album. Its a real stunner. I may be biased but I really love your song the most. Its so powerful and makes me want to cry. The kids all know the words as well! Sarah from New Zealand

I have your CD Awakening. I listen to it at least once a week! Thanks for making a diffrence in the world. Hillary - London, UK
  5. You have made the most amazing contribution to Plunket with your wonderful voice, vision and determination to create Merry Christmas Baby. As a Plunket volunteer, the stock arrived in my home on Thursday night and I didn't stop playing the CD until Saturday afternoon - it's fantastic! You will make a difference - so thank you!
